Safety-Net Programs

Links to Sub-topics:

  • Federal Communications Commission’s Lifeline
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
  • Military Families
  • Social Security Disability Insurance Consultative Examinations
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Given the interaction and overlapping eligibility of safety net programs, Simon&Co. has worked to modernize the programs while ensuring beneficiary access. Simon&Co. worked with an advocacy group to develop a white paper on “no wrong door policies” to help potential beneficiaries access all programs for which they are eligible. Additionally, we have advocated before Congress and the administration for policy changes to improve beneficiary access, program functions, and program integrity. With our deep knowledge of safety-net program policies, procedures, and funding, we have worked with numerous federal and state contractors developing and managing the administrative systems.
